Because of the way beams
entwine each other, intersection planes
are always perpendicular to each other.
Nodes are made of cast iron all of the
same cross shape, then their arms are cut
to meet the required length. Glass panels
are clamped to spiders, all identical and
fixed by a stem which is to be plugged into
a hole on the upper face of the cross and
welded.
